Philosophy: Theater mastery can be applied to all other subjects and disciplines. Students learn to practice accepting the ideas of others, communicating intentions, carving out spatial awareness, creative critical thinking, facing obstacles, resolving a conflict - becoming an ensemble—this is how our drama classes work and play each week. They grow a stronger intuitive process by learning how to express what is spoken and unspoken. Discovering literary through-line and historical significance supports a student’s real need to feel safe, taking artistic risks, and enables them to connect active choices to the curriculum.
