Grade sizes range from 15-30 in a typical year. Class sizes vary depending on the subject and student interest, but are never more than 25. Most world language classes have 10 or fewer students. 

We are currently accepting applicants for grades Preschool to 12.

For the 2022-2023 We do not require the ISEE, SSAT, or standardized test scores for admissions. There are optional documents that may be submitted.

Included in the tuition are books, all school supplies, overnight trips, field trips, and after school activities. Students are issued School-owned Chromebooks for classroom and home use. International and chorus trips are excluded from the tuition. New students must pay a one-time building fund fee of $1,000.

Morning homeroom begins at 8:15 am. Lower school dismisses at 3:15 pn and after-school enrichment dismisses at 4:15 pm. Middle school homeroom dismisses at 3:25 pm and after-school enrichment dismisses at 4:30 pm or 5:00 pm, depending on the activity. Upper school students are allowed to leave after their last scheduled class of the day. 

THS does not serve food at school. Middle school students can bring lunch from home or order from a school-approved vendor. Upper school students are allowed to leave campus during their break periods.

THS does not provide transportation for students. Most students come to school by public transit. If you live in a participating county, you may qualify for transportation reimbursement. NJ Transit offers student rates and NYC residents are eligible for a student MetroCard. 

The application process is the same, with the addition of an English assessment by a THS teacher for non-native speakers, which may be done over Google Meet. THS does not require TOEFL scores. For more information:
