Head of School for the Day

Each year at The Hudson School's annual gala, one of the auction items available is “Head of School for the Day.” This year, alumna Veruschka del Rio '95 returned to The Hudson School on May 28 to serve as the Head of School for the day. Veruschka had a very busy schedule performing a variety of administrative tasks, as well as meeting with students and faculty. One of her duties was to select the book for faculty summer reading.

It was such an honor to return to my home, my alma mater, and see the school from a different perspective. As an adult, as a teacher and from a leader’s position - The Hudson School prepared me for this very day. What an honor to see the evolution of the school and the independence and wisdom of those children.
